Do you care if your fave is a good person?

To an extent, I do care. I cannot support people who are assholes in real life. I give a pass on certain behaviors that harms no one but themselves (having a vice, for example) but being unkind and racist to others is a no go for me.

I care because the reason why someone is my bias or my fav is because of their personality if they turned out to be a wildly different person than my own expectations then that might lead me to not liking them as much

I care, why bother getting into idol culture if I didnt?

Might as well just be a casual western pop listener

i guess more trivial ones like speeding and breaking quarantine, are like not too bad bc it does happen, but with illegal drugs, just everything abt it is wrong to me, no matter what(here, consuming or transaction of illegal drugs can land you a death sentence so you can kinda see where this is coming from)

like they dont have to be perfect but i genuinely hope the people i like are decent people

If we're not getting into racist/sexist/homphobic/legit problematic territory and refer to being a jerk only, then yeah. I'd honestly be even more entertained by a mean idol than the average good girl/good boy persona everyone is fronting.

Well as I don't know them personally, it's immaterial, but as long as they are humble and have integrity that's what matters to me.
