What is the first thing you think of when someone mentions Faroe Islands?

A place where I have no idea where on the map it even is

I only know they're to the north of Europe

First thought...What is that?

I'd probably assume it's one of those hidden lesser-known islands where celebrities like to vacation.

(I'm from the US and have a very bad sense of geography, but some photographers on YT go to the Faroe Islands a lot)

Music. My daughter has a few songs of singers from there. There's one I can't remember her name, she sings kind of primitive, caveman songs.

Really? I like Faroe Islands. Not that I've been there but I like the idea of going there. I like that it's remote. Not many people in the world go visit the place. The Islands mostly came to my knowledge through heavy metal band Týr.

So there was a time I was thinking of going there via a ferry from Denmark. I might do it sometimes eventually.
