Fortunately I haven't seen anyone hating on the girls themselves, but when was the last time a debut was so negatively received? I search Twitter, YT, TikTok, Last.Fm, AKP, etc are there are like 3 positive comments 
Hopefully JYP gives them a better song for their comeback because I feel kinda bad for the girls. They all seem super talented & pretty....it's a shame
Considering the reception songs like IGAB,Zimzalabim and NL got,it's really not.It's just a slightly different situation because it's a debut.

All big3 gg get hate at debut then it go 2 directions:
1) their song rise and everybody gets memory lost and make like they always love their song
2) their cmb smach and get memory lost again like they never hated them
All it's the same
I'm not sure it is that surprising. Based on this forum at least, it's clear that a lot of people were ready to rip JYP a new a-hole at the first occasion.
Now to be honest I don't really like Nmixx 's debut either. But it doesn't sound that different from aespa to me, that's why I think the hate is dishonest. For it's me the same kind of try-hard, edgy, wannabe experimental mishmash that's all over the place.
What makes It worse is that they are receiveing a lot of negative criticism, but they don't have a big fandom yet to defend them or cover it up, so everything's more evident.
I feel bad for them, because the hate they are receiveing is in every K-pop space, even in their own music video's comment section. I hope the girls aren't reading it in such a special day for them.

Even though no one is hating on the girls, i feel bad for them. 99 percent of the time when fans say that the labels are wasting their faves' talents, i just think they've being over dramatic. But this is the one time when i find myself agreeing with them. There's supposed to be a couple of great vocalists here and their talents have been overshadowed by the overwhelming negativity.
The girls must be dismayed at seeing the online reactions and the charting so far.

The song mix wasn't good, Maybe if Tank had been the title song, it wouldn't have gotten so much hate. The girls are talented and cute but jyp is very wrong if he thinks the song is good.

it's just that JYP is trying to do their first experimental GG and they didn't have a previous GG doing this type of sound, i think they'll adjust NMIXX sound based on how the song is received by fans.
JYP they already did it for example recently when they saw that more mature song for Twice weren't well receive they switch back to a more colorful pop song like scientist
or when they saw that MITM wasn't well receive they switch back to the more upbeat teen sound that Itzy were used to for Loco
so i wouldn't surprise after seeing the reaction to O.O JYp try to give them a song more easy to the ears

At least with Zimzalazim, IGAB, etc their fandoms were more established at the time so they could defend them. That isn't the case here sadly.
