    Why?

Why do they worship living people? BTS-Shrine-4.jpg

This is the statue of Guan Yin Buddha that they worship, they just changed their name to BTS

I don’t know if copyright and portrait rights have been negotiated. I was also surprised when I saw it for the first time today

    1. Seriously, what are these crazy people doing to living people?? BTS isn’t even from their own country

    2. They are not allowed to use BTS name and photo.. HYBE, please sue

    3. No… BTS is Korean, so why are they like that?

    4. It’s so absurd that it makes me laugh

    5. I thought Japan was so strict about portrait rights, but I guess it’s not

    6. They only use BTS to make money. I feel sorry for BTS

    7. What are those crazy ba$tards doing?

    8. Big Hit, please sue and get rid of that damn thing… Japanese people are scary

    9. No.. There’s no Japanese member in BTS, so why are they using it their way? They are crazy

    10. Honestly, Japanese people do a lot of weird things

  • I'm guessing someone has a quirky sense of humor because there's no way they can be serious about this. lol Perhaps it's like those pop culture saint candles that are popular where it's just for a laugh.

I'm an atheist/agnostic (depends on the day) so I don't really care about the idolatry part, the whole thing just looks like a super tacky money grab.

  • You guys realize that Japanese people basically did to Chinese & Korean people what the Nazis did to the Jews, short of actually forcing them into gas chambers, they tried to commit genocide of the Chinese people by killing off as many of them as they possibly could in hugest numbers possible and horrible ways as possible, they used them as human experiments like boiling them alive in water to see what would happen to the skin........they committed countless human atrocities except that they never apologized to them, unlike the Nazis did to the Jews. Of course Koreans hate them, and in this case Japan is actually sort of trying to appropriate their culture and claim it as their own.

I'm not saying I hate the Japanese, the way my Chinese 1st-generation immigrant parents hate them, although I am Chinese-American; far from it, I've been obsessed with anime & Japanese pop culture pretty much since the day I was born, lol (okay since I was 8-9 years old). My point is: maybe at least try to understand where these people are coming from if billions of them all hate each other with such pretty much unwavering intensity for the past zillions of years, lol, BEFORE you judge them. And that maybe there's a lot of understandable reasons why they all seem to hate each other. I mean, most of you guys don't even hardly know anything ABOUT them, at the end of the day, despite claiming to know all about and adore all their idols; you don't know their countries' history, their culture, why it's developed the way it has....yet, you all seem to judge them as harshly as if you did. Maybe most of y'all should judge them as you would want to be judged; treat them as you would want to be treated, if you were in their shoes. Chinese people, Japanese people, Korean people, ASIANS in general, AAPI people from countless other Southeast Asian countries and islands are all people, the same way you guys who are not Asian are people, too. They didn't suddenly all form out of a stone in one day and become the way they are as a people in the span of one day; one minute, one hour, one second. Most of their civilizations and societies are thousands of years old, and most are some of the oldest known civilizations and cultures in the world. Some of their ideas, sentiments, notions, such as religious habits and behaviors seem to have passed down from a very long time ago to the present. It's only natural. Most of you people seem to forget that Jesus was a real living person, too. There's real historical evidence that he lived including carbon dating data of things proving that they're thousands of years old; there are real Ancient records saying that "Jesus of Nazareth was crucified on the cross on this and such day." To him, back then he must've seemed like a real messiah, a savior to millions of people come to save them from the misery of themselves and of the world; maybe to some people in Japan, BTS seems to be like that, too..............

2NE1: "We paved the way...for everyone who is paving the way!"

  • What was said in one of the comments is right those people are crazy for worshipping living people. This also goes for solo stans and delelu fans BTS and every other idol is NOT god don't do this shit! They are not to be worshipped

What’s worse worshipping a living person or something that something that potentially doesn’t exist.

Most of the people judging us are the same fake woke sjw bs people that are hypocrites. Hypocrites are worse than scum, worse than the worms beneath the dirt!. These are the same people who will preach don't talk over others or get educated etc. Yet are the most ignorant. They will say all this bullshit but are the first to judge and not learn anything are the first to cancel at anything even if unproven and fake and still do it regardless of knowing the damage they do even if it drives people to depression and suicide. The same folk who sit up in some comfortable democracy where they lived in some gated community where they never had to worry about real problems or crime never had to deal with fights. There's a special place in hell for them. They will never even begin to understand why there's do much hated and animosity between many of our asian nations and why. But when it comes to our culture and society here un Korea apparently they all know better and have their 2cents to input but won't hesitate to tell you to " stay out of other people's business" yet they have all the authority to be in ours🤡🤡🤡🤡

Yeah sure according to the vatican lol….

You really can’t be serious bringing up Christianity and Nazis into a conversation about randos worshipping BTS as “Gods”.

Vachirawit “Bright” Chivaaree can get it every day all day all week every month all year for a lifetime.

  • I don’t think they’re actually worshiping bts. It looks more like a joke than anything. And even if they were that’s their choice.

I’m most concerned about the portrait rights

  • Knetz: gets mad over this "worshipping"

Also Knetz: gets mad when C-idols doesn't bow (worshipping gesture)

I know it's different cases but it's just funny to me

  • I think people on akpp pretend to be so woke but they come here and disrespect religions (I mean where is the oh we respect people uwu ?? lol but what do expect...)

so we should only respect selected stuff? Got it lmao... ridiculous behavior.

Second this is obviously a JOKE

I am not gonna judge knetz feelings but I do believe this is a joke
