I actually like this more than Train of Busan.
Train of Busan is pretty much a very simple people surviving from zombie attack in a train and what make me unlike the show is that selfish guy. I don't understand why every zombie drama have this kind of people. That guys annoyed me and when the first main character died, the enjoyment really went down . I really don't want to watch the rest of the movie because of him and then he killed more people, I started to get annoyed with him and I wanted to punch him in the face.
Sorry for the spoiler if people haven't watch Train of Busan.

its boring

at first I wasn't sold on it
and I still think it could have many improvements
yet the fact that
there are characters like Namra, Gwanim, or that bullied girl which were bitten but didn't turn totally, and became a hambie for me it's already a win situation
I think they can use it in 2nd season maybe even with like finding some kind of cure/vaccine that if you taken it and then get bitten then you won't die but turn into hambie, that would be cool?
Also it already seems with how they ended S1 it's like there will be human-group struggle, and hambie/zombie-group struggle in S2.

How many zombie shows are we going to get......Korea needs to give it up & stop trying to replicate Train to Busan's success.
I actually got the hype around Squid Game & it was super cool, plus it had an interesting plot. But this one? Nah.
squid game was your prototypical death game genre show.

Yeah, but well made nonetheless and incorporated a few Korean traditions in the games that pulled in Korean viewers.
All Of Us Are Dead? Mehhh…. it was cute with cute actors/actresses…. not sure if I’m missing some deeper level meaning or what….

It was entertaining though 🤷♀️

It had it's highs and lows, and on the whole, I enjoyed it. I hope season 2 improves its pacing, but imo, a lot of these zombie shows are often one or two good characters and a bunch of people who you don't exactly want to die, but they're very annoying and it won't hurt anything if they do. And I think AOUAD succeeded with being at its best when the cast was together, even when there was disagreement.
I totally get how it's not for everyone -- there was a slump early on in the season that really required some powering through -- but I feel like a lot of people acknowledge that it's fun, not perfect. So I don't see how it's overrated.
Also, more death game trope shows, please and thank you.

woah i hated that guy so much too. But i think it is a nice moral to show the people what people cause to other if they act selfish. The character development specialy of the male lead was awesome. For me probably the best zombie movie together with 28 days later.

To be fair, this is the best zombie series ever created
All of Us Are Dead >>>> Walking Dead's peak
It brings a fresh take on zombie franchise when they introduced the "hambies" -
I'm happy it got popular since that would mean we will get more interesting korean shows with bigger budget but..... it wasn't that good
There were so many stupid things from the science behind the outbreak and the over the top crazy scientist trope to the anime character archetypes
Even the logic failed half way through for example they show us that the "virus" can be transmited by infected blood and saliva but there are so many scenes when the characters whole face drenched in zombie blood (also I'm pretty sure they had wounds on their hands from the countless fighting and climbing) still they were fine after
I liked the beginning but it got so stupid that by the end I gave up
