I've seen the odd comment here and there of people clowning in their age but here's the thing.
Boa has been in the game for 21 years and she's only 35. She did things like selling multi millions, being the biggest kpop artist etc that most other artists in the even deep into 20s or 30s still haven't achieved but she did when she was still a teen.
TaeHyo have been in the game for 14 years and only 32. Again they achieved as SNSD that many others have yet to match when they were still pretty young. Other ggs/idols including the top big 3 ggs are older than SNSD at the same stages in their careers.

The SM girls are on the younger side though.
Black pink made it to their 5th calendar year this year. They're 26 to 24.
Boa in her 5th year was 19 (but she's a massive outlier because she debuted super young)
SNSD (2012) were all 23 and under
FX (2014) Victoria was 27 and rest were 22 and under
RV (2019) 28 for Irene and the rest 25 and under
Aespa (2025) will be 25 and under
Apart from a couple idols all of them younger than BP. Same thing compared their peers in their respective gens, SNSD for example depsite one of the senior groups in 2G actually have younger members overall than others that came after them.

WG at debut had Sunye and Yubin same age as Taeyeon so not that different. However WG do have a few younger members with Sunmi and Sohee so the group average was younger. Then of course through member changes WG got even younger.
2ne1 were definitely older lmao. Dara and Bom were both older, CL is same as Seohyun, only Minzy was younger. 3/4 of 2ne1 are same or older.than SNSD despite debuting 2 years later.
