maybe if they divide it into 2 days and 12 acts perform each day then it makes sense

if every act had 8 minutes to perform it will still be just 200 minutes, which is a bit more than 3 hours

but those would perform just 1 song:

2021 rookies

+ soloists

Lisa, Rose, Somi, Heize, Taeyeon, Lee Mujin

+ boy groups

The Boyz, ATEEZ, Stray Kids, TXT

+ Brave Girls would only perform Rollin

the only 'boost' artists:

BTS would have 3 songs

IU would have 3 songs

and all other not mentioned artists would have 2 songs

Don't have time to count this but pretty sure that even with 'lazy' award ceremony it could easily conclude in 4 and half hour.

For example this years Melon Music Awards biggest mistake was that 1 hour long pre-show when they just talked about previous things, and this year songs etc. wth was that? really a waste of time for fans.
