Nah, Tae leading on insta is not surprising at all. This app is about aesthetics and beautiful pics and Tae has always had the most beautiful pics, like on BTS insta account he almost always has been the most liked one, there were only few 'competitions' like some Jimin pics for Butter or that iconic pic of Hoseok for Dynamite.
What I like about their solo accs is that now (especially first hours when only fandom found out about about it, but even now when we almost hit 24 hours, it still shows), when solos haven't started yet mass-creation of bot accounts for competition and boosting followers, it clearly visible that popularity and love for all members is pretty much on par. Solos can scream whatever they want but the difference is actually pretty small, that is amazing to see how huge BTS both as group and individually, their presence and influence is insane.
Also I am really shaking thinking about what content Hoseok is gonna post, cause it's obvious that he was so READY for his own solo account and there are so many possibilities: his iconic mirror selfies, his pics of food he does all the time, his pics with art, his Hope On The Street videos - so many things he can bless us with, can't wait to see it all
