I've noticed that Koreans like when females have kind of straightened hair it was same with Yuna, the way it goes down through cheeks and makes face/head look smaller
Maybe, but specifically for Giselle she has a wider top of half of her face, so it's a heart-shaped face I think. By eliminating much of the visible area through the side pieces it makes her achieve the ideal oval face that is conventionally attractive.
