Am I the only one who feels bittersweet with the vocal color diversity of IVE?

I feel like I'm the only one who like their vocals... The girls are still very young and have a lot do develop, but imo Eleven was a serve

A live show would be nice because the vocal processing is making it slightly worse

I think Yujin, Liz and Wonyoung sounded great and the others were good too!

I've only heard two songs from them (and keeping in mind they're both with vocal processing) so I'll give them some time but I liked what I heard so far personally, especially from Liz and Wonyoung.

maybe I'm being extra harsh cause they're getting so much hype but honestly they mostly seem like they're based on visuals so far. Their best two vocalists can't even support, Wonyoung is somehow their third best singer despite being one of the weakest in Izone (and weak generally) and dance doesn't seem like their forte either. I just remember how critical people are of other groups like Kep1er (clearly more talented), or Twice back then (def got more standout talent too) and people are overhyping IVE sooo much in comparison.

I think its too early to tell. But there are times where I was playing guessing game figuring out who was singing.

The songs, I prefer Take It. Eleven is alright but underwhelming imo.

Their voices do sound quite similar and I do agree that so far none of them seem to be particularly stand out vocalists which is a bit disappointing considering their seniors are Sistar and WJSN.

However, they're still young and their voices sound very nice. I think they'll grow overtime and as it stands I think this was a decent debut.

Personally, I think a lot of people are being overly critical of very insignificant things. it's almost as if they expected IVE to hang the moon in sky or something and are now pointing out random things plenty of other groups get away with or don't care about but suddenly it's a complaint for IVE.

Tbh its a good thing that the harshest criticism they are getting are stuff like these... Its like people are nitpicking because they cant find something bigger to complain about lmao

Probably because expectations and hype have been through the roof. If it was just some random nugus that nobody has heard about getting no mediaplay, no one would be having these expectations. But Starshit literally destroyed Izone for this new vaunted GG with two It Girls, so expectations are clearly on another level.

To soon to tell imo people thought said the same about Aespa's vocals which is puzzling since they sound really different to me

Vocally, they all sound very similar, which is not good because usually in groups you want everyone to stand out for their voice or rapping, but I can't even tell there voices apart?!

I think it's because usually takes time to get used to a group's different voices. I can't think of any group that I heard for the first time that I could tell their voices apart. Usually, only the rappers stand out at first but in this song there's no rap.

I liked the voices, but the first 3 girls in the song, basically sounded the same.

After watching the MV and press conference stage I like Leesoo and Liz the most.

I guess we need more performances from them in order to show off their talents
