also same with kids being already under agency and then being grouped under another one
you have recent example with HYBE taking Sakura and Chaewon even tho both ladies were under contract
same with survival shows, you can say girls are loaned for half year of show + 2,5 year of promotions to other agency
just like in football club gets some money thanks to that loan, here also agencies get some money when their trainee makes it to the final group in survival program
you can even say that survival show itself is bit similar to draft system which they have in American sports

I just have to say this song is a masterpiece every time I see it posted. It's just so catchy. But back to the main topic I don't think transfers between groups will be a thing in kpop until the graduation concept becomes normalized as in the case of After school and many other ggs that caused issues.
I wanted this years ago, but group chemistry could be severely affected.
