My criteria is not the same as the award organizations,

I think awards should be given to merely to most successful, but most impactful/useful to the growth of the field.

So,

ARTIST OF THE YEAR - Brave Girls, the story of perseverance and deserved success.

SONG OF THE YEAR - Aespa, to boost the new generation of idols.

ALBUM OF THE YEAR - IU, for delivering full length albums with good mix of songs, than focusing only on singles to boost exposure and sales. And also for bucking the chart timing craze.

Of course, all three are immensely successful as well. But there should be success with some additional factor/intent, than just success.

But I know my criteria is not that of award organizations, they are business as well, so will pander to the fandoms. Etc.

I don't see the point of awards exactly matching the chart numbers, if the charts already give that information, what is the point of an award confirming the same statistics.

Yea BE isnt eligible for GDA last year. It didnt get a nom at all for GDA. So it might be possible for it to get a nom for GDA Disk Daesang this year. But they did say eligible period for this year is From Dec 2020 til - Nov? 2021 release? So BE might not be eligible after all
