I don't think it's a bad thing per se. Helps temper expectations somewhat.
At the end of the day, music show promos aren't the money maker, they are just there for exposure. Not to mention the viewer ratings are a fraction of what they used to be back in the day. There are many other platforms for them to gain exposure on.
All the big companies/groups don't really need that. They've already got endorsements and other avenues of revenue readily available.
Them being on Knowing Bros or Kelly Clarkson is worth more than another ep of Music Bank tbh.

As long as Enhypen will actually be there to accept the award in person, it's ok if your faves lose. Your faves can stand there and clap politely and congratulate the winners.
The worst is when the winners arent even there to collect the award in person, while the losers have to stand there awkwardly with no one to congratulate while the winner's song is blasted in their face.
