Also important information is that JYPE submitted for a restraining order against him in early 2020 while he was in Korea searching for Nayeon. He then left Korea extremely quickly and the restraining order had to be withdrawn since it could not be served to him (as he was out of country).

However there is a standing order with the Korean Department of Immigration to have him detained if he tries to enter Korea.

He has not returned to Korea since then.

Just so people know he has had the covid vaccination in hopes of going back to Korea soon. He is full on delusional.

I used to "stan" an artist who was killed by an obsessed fan... I still haven't forgotten the day I heard of the news.
I was younger at the time and fortunately never experienced any loss of a loved one.
So I never really understood when people say things like "it didn't feel real" "it felt like a dream" because I've always felt I've had a good sense of reality.
And then after the loss, I completely understood it and felt like the news article I was reading was fake news...

Anyways, while I joke about this matter, I partly avoid it. It is traumatizing to think of there even being a remote possibility of having to go through that again.

I hope nothing ever happens to Nayeon and I'm glad things are in order to keep this under control and I hope it stays that way.

JYPE can't do anything to him when he's in another country that's on the other side of the world. International law just doesn't work like that.

There is the standing order to have him detained if he attempts to enter South Korea. That's all they can do right now. Oh and make sure that there is plenty of security if Nayeon ever gets to travel overseas again.

At that point you're talking about Extradition. As alexS mentioned, a crime has not been committed in Germany, so the German authorities don't have anything to act upon.

The Korean government would have to request that the German government extradite him to South Korea to face charges. That's a lot of effort for what governments would consider a "small" crime.

It's sad and wrong that it's seen that way, but it is.
