It legit is my favourite song. So many elements, beautiful MV, catchy hook step, top notch rap parts.

Baam Baam kinda sounded like Bboom Bboom so didn't expect much.

Definitely icy. Itzy’s reputation as a jyp gg following a huge hit (even if they were still rookies) was still way way higher than momoland’s brand value. Bboom bboom exploded as a song, but the group singing it didn’t get nearly as much recognition. Itzy didn’t really suffer from that problem, so baam underperforming after bboom bboom was way more expected and in fact anticipated by quite a lot of people that are familiar with how these things work

Icy. Itzy is a big three girl group, and Dalla Dalla had been such a strong debut. It's way more typical for big three groups that do well off the bat to continue to do well.

Momoland had an unexpected success with Bboom Bboom. If they were able to replicate it, that would be cool, but it wasn't expected that they'd be able to.

When Baam was just Bboom Bboom 2.0, we all expected it to not do as well on the charts.
