Well dalla dalla did 7 weeks in top10. If next level can surpass this it'll be bigger. Otherwise it'll need to have to be bigger in longevity. Only time will tell.

I think it's harder to chart, but once you do it's easier to stay. As it's also harder for others to enter, it will take longer for you to exit.

It was harder to stay long in top ten before but now it is easier to stay once u enter top ten.

the top 10 is pretty competitive tho. like you can easily lose ur spot on top 20 tbh, but once u count in 24 hits, i agree it's hard to exit out of TOP 100. The upper percentile though is more competitive compared to the last chart.

Nah once u have enough ul it takes time to be out of top ten ... But before chart reform song can directly top the charts.

Not really? Once you get enough UL it's hard to get out of 24 hits, but the actual top 10 is actually quite unstable. Like Peaacches is either -10k or +10k ULs. It's just that the current top 10 have ALOT of ULs that the rank look "stable", but if you look at the numbers, they're not constant.

old melon has easier way of getting into the top spot, and such it looks way more "unstable" in the eye. But lbr, big fandoms on old melon can easily sustain top 10.

I have faith that Next Level can break Dalla Dallas record for longest weeks in top 10 Melon weekly chart. They’re currently #4 and the song is STILL gaining UL’s and they’re also #2 on Melon real time. I really think Aespa can do it.

Their videos are still trending in Korea even though it’s been out for weeks which is a good sign of how viral Next Level is

They can. The way the new system work is once you stay in top 10, then it's harder for you to fall. Also it does help that aespa actually gaining ul after 4 weeks.

I think thy might be able to break into number 3 if OMG keep falling and they keep gaining. They are currently 8k to 9k down on OMG and 20k down on heize, but it's going to take days.

Hopefully, it's a better song than Dalla Dalla after all.

Hard to say. Because DD was before reform while Next Level is after the reform. But Aespa is the first gg from the 4th generation to break top 5 Melon hit. And 5th gg to do so after BP, OMG, RV IS and BG, so that is already huge achievement now.

Imo I think Next Level already surpassed it. It’s a unique concept and experimental for a first cb. I’m glad Aespa didn’t play it safe and are doing well on the charts. Regardless, I like both songs

Aespa next level reached 100,000 likes on melon in 23 days. Itzy dd took 64 days. It’s obvious who’s the bigger song.
