Did Hyuna cost E'Dawn his idol career?

Okay for one i'm sure Hyuna didn't made that decision all by herself they are both adults that have been dating for 2 years prior to the scandal.

2nd thing is Cube is not a very good company, p nation is way better for them. As a solo artist that just started out he is doing great.

So to answer that question, no, Hyuna did not cost him his career, they are better off if you ask me

We don't know, if he was still in Pentagon now he'd be without Jinho and Hui cause they in the army and the group is on Hiatus so unless he branched out and did solo work whilst part of it who knows. I'm sure he considered the possible outcome very indepthly and made the decision he was happy with. Even with Daisy finally get them their first win, Shine will forever be their best song to me.

It’s not Hyuna’s fault he didn’t have an established career when they left the company, and it wasn’t only her making the decisions for the both of them. They’re grown adults and what we’re not going to do is project blame onto women who happen to be more successful and take control of their lives.

There’s a lot of “what-if’s” that we can sit here and discuss but assuming things won’t do any good.

Tbh they both were involved in it. No one is to be blamed. Both took a fair share of risks in the industry after Cube kicked them out. Though everything was worth it, I am happy that Pnation helped them.

Well, kinda yes. Not bcs of Hyuna as a person, since they love each other and they took the decision together, but, in general, a relationship is pretty bad for male idols. Let's not forget that they live from selling, both albums, and their image. He didn't have a huge fanbase so after the dating news he lost a big part of the fans, basically, he lost his income.

This is the reality tbh. Fangirls pay for albums, tours, merch, but they don't accept relationships that easily for various reasons. But this "rule" applies to every male idol, not only to Dawn and ofc, not because of Hyuna.

But now, maybe he will get his income as a producer and from CFs and photoshoots with Hyuna. But as a solo, I don't think he will sell much. Or maybe..?

They are so lucky that they love so much, but it's pretty risky if they broke up, that's also a reason why usually relationships are secret.

The situation was messy because Cube wanted to lie about it and they didn't, so they made the call to be honest against the company's wishes. I think they knew that meant it was over for them in said company, and as adults it was their choice to make. Was never a fan of Pentagon so I can't say how he did back then but I like Dawn now, he's definitely someone who was made to be an independent artist. He's creative and a bit more out there than is allowed for idol group members, so if I were to guess, I'd say he's happier now.

It was both of their decision to come out and tell the truth. Cube was shit about it. I think pentagon lost more than dawn lost. He has so much more creative freedom now an can produce whatever he wants. Moreover, I am so happy Hyuna left. Ever since 4 minute disbanded, I wanted her to leave that shit of a company.

They were dating for 2 years and nobody knew about it, yet he was doing great with Pentagon, he still gave fan service, performed, he did what was expected of him. So it's obvious that Hyuna had nothing to do with it. Cube acting like they didnt know they were dating. And salty fan girls who think they own kpop idols.
