Show Me Your Physical Album Collections!

I'll go first. A lot of my non kpop and non mainstream albums were given to me when I was still on the road with punk bands and underground rappers as gifts for working with them because they knew I collected albums. A lot of the other CDs from artists y'all will recognize were bought in yard sales for $.50 or thrift shops over the last 5-7 years or were from my childhood that my best and longest foster mother recently sent some of to me from my old room at her house (there's still more there but it's states away).

also I would show my photocards but I don't have a bunch as I give most of mine away since I don't collect them, to friends that do. And many times those friends sell me their albums without the photocards very cheap when I have money. Though I am proud to say I have the two rare chungha cards from her Quenrencia

I am broke too that's why I hunt for albums without photocards when I do rarely have to buy them and thrift shop as that's where I found my BTS albums for $2 each

Ashanti is a queen 😭 but everyone had forgotten her and Shakira was one of the first artists I was exposed to as a kid. BoA is why I got into K-Pop so having those 5 of her albums is a requirement

I live in Arkansas and Christian parents have been making their kids clean out their BTS albums since they supported BLM so last year I found loads of those 3 albums in goodwill for cheap 🤣 and the others I bought cheap from an friend who's in her late 30s who has a massive collection in her eBay store for good prices.

I love their stuff too and used to have more of it but outside of the two blue zipper CD cases I used to keep in my old Station wagon. An cuckoo ex broke in and burned my albums on like 2017 because I wouldn't talk to them and blocked them for a year. Let's just say I'm glad they are in jail for the next 15 years. Because I had been gifted a lot of them when I was on the road from the guys in the road crew I worked with when they would find them 🤬

I remember that competition. Please frame that album 😭 also include embarrassing albums. It's interesting to see people's journey I mean I have the trash man's two Japanese albums in mint condition in on my shelf 🙃

🤣 you've not been to the south in the US have you? Most of the area yes is very VERY racist. There's two towns 20-45 mins away depending on which you go to that if you are anything but white after 8 pm guns get pointed at you among other things if you aren't with a white person 🙃 let's just say I and my sister avoid those towns a lot. But yes it was on the news one day too that 50-60 families made their kids rid their homes of BTS, EXO and other kpop albums because they didn't support "southern wholesome family values" After BTS donated. 🤢🤢🤢

Where I live is fine it's only bad if you go to those two towns. 🤣 other wise people are usually peaceful and if they are racist keep it to themselves . Especially in the city where I live. I live in the most diverse neighborhood in the area so people don't really bug us. We just don't go to the small Podunk towns.
