If the scandal is at that level that the members can go to jail then surely I will not stan them.

School bullying scandal... If it was a long time ago, I'll let it pass as long as they show remorse and apologize. Besides, it's important not to mix up a bullying scandal and a two-sided, back-and-forth middle school feud. A lot of (G)I-DLE Soojin case seems like it was a bit of a back-and-forth exchange between two parties as opposed to one person inflicting pain onto the other.
One group member bullying another group member... Nope. Not gonna stan. It'll just taint the image of the group for me too much, and I can't support the idea of these members being all cool with each other onscreen, but terrible to a member offscreen. Imagine being able to debut successfully and still having such terrible mindset. That's just immature and off-putting.

exactly, if it's the company's decision for an idol to wear something then i'm able to understand it, but if the idol is clearly mocking a certain culture and making fun of it then i'm out.
Only if it's sexual or domestic assault or abuse or intentional racism.
I will cut emotional ties to the artist, but will still probably listen to their music just like I do with Western musicians.
If they're extreme and the person involved is still in the group I won't stan. If it's something like a dui I might still stan the rest of the group except that member
