Stray Kids' 1st Round Stage KINGDOM - Side Effects X God's Menu

From the preview of Stray Kids' KINGDOM performance next week, it's become clearer that Stray Kids will supposedly perform a mashup of Side Effects and God's Menu:

Now, this is a massive deal. God's Menu is probably their biggest hit to date - it's what blew them up, gave them a large majority of their current fanbase and it's a representative song of Stray Kids' aspirations in the music industry. It's a song about pride in their originality and flavours, which they have been critiqued as being 'construction music'.

For Stray Kids to combine that with Side Effects, the song that got them that very same 'negative' label due to it's extreme musical intensity (the first Psytrance K-POP song ever) , it's Stray Kids manner of saying TO THE WORD (The given theme of the first round) : 'We're releasing our own music, and we're not doing it to please people; we're doing it to remain true ourselves'. The manner in which they're claiming the 'construction music' label and using it to enhance their identity is such a bold statement, that deserves recognition!

As I said when we were discussing it some days ago in the Guild, one of the things I admire the most about these boys is that they don't adapt themselves to please a group of people. They release what they feel they should release and If anyone wants to follow them, they are welcome to their world. But they must like Stray Kids for who they are as artists, who they chose being. And It's an advice for everyone who wants to get into them through Kingdom.
