Really? I know that K-pop and K-dramas are very popular in Kazakhstan so their officials even criticize young people who are "trying to look Korean". But Mongolia is much closer to Korea geographically. What about Chinese pop culture?
Yes. Korean culture has been known to Mongolia from very early. But Mongolia and Korea are culturally very different. That's why people in my country don't really interest in kpop and kinda dislike it. Even don't know much about cpop. People often listen western artists like Drake, Weeknd etc. Only BigBang was quite popular since they don't have that flower boy image most kpop boygroups have.
