Makes sense tbh. They remind me a lot of New Jeans, they could be the spiritual successors to NJ tbh, but with much better music of course. Hands Up and Drop Top are two SOTY contenders.

They did sing live, but comparing them to NMIXX is way too much. Those girls are basically the final boss of Kpop. Not many (boy and girl) groups can sing live the way they do, let alone singing and dancing at the same time. I can only name like 2 or 3 girl groups who can do that.

MEOVV doesn't have a vocal heavy song yet to showcase their actual talents, but even tho I don't like their songs, except maybe TOXIC, they're definitely one of the few 5th gen groups whom are talented, but I still think they're not under the right company, because Teddy won't give them a versatile discography like YG does it with Babymon. Can't believe I actually said this about YG.🤣

When I say, it's Teddy, I meant his whole company, not just one person. Next I'll say TBL. You're right, I didn't hear their Japanese songs, but I don't really listen to JP songs from Kpop groups. Unless they're my biggest faves. They have 7 songs, I liked 'TOXIC', 'MEOW' was meh but tolerable, 'HANDS UP' is basically a torture song, I hate songs like that, so it's not really TBL's fault, even if Mamamoo made that song I would hate it. 'BODY' feels like a Blackpink reject. "DROP TOP" is their 2nd best, but that one also sounds like a BP song, I think "Forever Young".

Okay, only because of you I listened to "ME ME ME" and it was decent, but don't know why it's a JP song because I didn't hear a single Japanese word. Sorry now that I read the lyrics I did find 5 Japanese sentences.😂

So, overall, I don't think they have enough songs to see how versatile they are, because out of 7 songs, at least 4 has the same vibe and style.

Let's pray TBL will give them song Jazzy, Blues and a lot of other genres.

You know me enough to know I hate nothing more than talent wasting, YG and Teddy are leading that race for decades, that's why I don't trust them, BUT as I said, they can prove me wrong. MEOVV is not on my "I don't give a damn about them." list.

It's almost like you're saying, you want them to release the same music. If a group is talented and can sing properly, they can have a versatile discography with multiple genres and concept. MMM is the prime example and you know that.

Honestly, it's boring to see groups stuck with 1 or 2 style. I loved 2NE1, but they were anything but versatile. I don't want to force them to do anything, but if a group or a soloist keep releasing the same music, I will move on.

If you read my review above, you can see, I liked some of their songs. My TOP5 genres: Jazz, Blues, Rock, R&B, Hip Hop and Pop, obviously. This is 6, anyway... I'm almost 100% sure they can pull off any of these.

Anyway, I will be counting sheep, it's already shit day enough, I missed Hwasa's live because of the crazy weather here. At least it wasn't her main stage.

not even rose has sang this song with unedited raw vocals. she performed in that kbs the seasons show and that show is notorious for editing vocals post production even for the few good singers to the point that some of them sound like robots
