Anyways, to me all idola are attractive. Their job is too look pretty and they are pretty.
Having said that; i couldn't care less about artists' looks, i care only about their music. I stream audio versions, not MVs or fancams. Kpop fans consider my fave as mid, and my 2nd fave as visual hole (kpop fans being awful people like always).
I only think they're pretty after I stan them
I stan BB and if someone say it's bc of their visual I would laugh a lot.
I love kpop music so it's music for me.
Now I stan Cha Eunwoo bc of his face, body, etc etc etc physically hence me not being interested that much in Astro neither his acting works.
firstly I don't claim to stan any groups I have my favs but I wouldn't say I stan them
they are my favs because of their personality (or at least what they show on camera)
yes they are attractive but I'm not attracted to them since I don't know them and even though they are pretty like top 1% pretty attraction is much more than mere looks
If I like their music I Stan them. Being pretty is a bonus!
For example Minho is the visual of Shinee, and he is not my bias. While Karina in Aespa is my bias, not because she is pretty but because of her voice, and charisma! But that doesn’t mean I am not going to appreciate their beauty! I always do.
Most people prefer to consume content of people who are good looking in their eyes regardless of sexual attraction, because even if you aren't attracted to them in the same way you would be to a potential partner, there's still something that's pleasing to look at, which includes overall aesthetics.
For example I'm a straight woman but I appreciate girl groups that have pretty members and good styling because those aesthetics are pleasing to the eyes and aspirational for me.

Like ill see someone and be like “omg i love your blah blah blah” because like they wear it well and that takes being pretty??? At least i tell the truth idk like i love that me and my girlies turn heads me and my boyfriend are cute af iddddkkkk
Pretty, attractive, hot or sexy members definitely don't HURT stanning a group at all, but end of the day, you really do need to like the music to stick around.
If you can't vibe with the music, you lost interest no matter how attractive you find the members.
For me, two examples stand out in this regard.
Idle. The members are all insanely beautiful or sexy or both. But I got into them BECAUSE of the music (I've talked before how Idle was my third stanned group when I got into kpop). The first few times I heard Idle songs and loved them, I hadn't even seen the members. But I've lost interest HARD in Idles music, I think (personally) it's a much bigger quality drop-off than people think Itzy was. Because I've lost interest in their music, I stopped really following anything about them. Attractive members isn't saving that.
The other, sadly, is Dreamcatcher and UAU in particular. It's no secret that Yoohyeon and JiU are at the very top of my ult bias lists because, imo, they are easily among the most beautiful kpop idols in the game. Like leagues ahead. But the UAU sub-units music was just such a nothing wet fart, and I realised the other day I haven't been following much about them because of it. I haven't watched any of their stages, their Youtube content etc... I ain't got time to watch that just BECAUSE they are beautiful, I need that musical attachment to stay interested.

The halo effect is strong when it comes to K-pop. Annie Moon, member of ADP, got a lot of hype revolving around her because she's a rich Samsung heiress. It was not due to her singing, dancing, or rapping skills. A lot of K-pop fans eat that up because they're enamored by people who seem larger than life. That extends to looks, fashion, and connections.

I skipped many idols that are pretty and that I consider pretty, so it's more complex
i would stan both for their music.
but somehow the group that made the music i liked the most also had the most attractive idol for me, and that idol in particular i was only stanning cause of how attractive i find him .
the most xxx fantasies ive ever had have been starring that idol.
with that said i don't think about him much lately. its like ive been freed from the virus.
i don't even have any idea how his new song sounds like.
