  • I am actually curious, because obv Bang made his famous comment about crushing Aespa, but I *personally* have never looked at Hybe girl groups and thought ‘Wow, that reminds me of Aespa!’… I may well have missed stuff, but otherwise to me, it seems more like an general ‘You think you can copy our look/style/success’ dig.

People are speculating that Aespa are making a reference to the allegations about hybe, allegedly, stealing ideas from New Jeans and MHJ. Which is a stupid line of thought, because why would Aespa reference someone else's mess in their song? And the lyrics obviously allude to Aespa being the ones getting copied, which has nothing to do with Hybe's shenanigans.

Like someone else said in the first page, this is a common sentiment in pop lyrics. People are just desperate for Aespa to clap back at Bang so bad.

  • Lol no, no it's not.

The whole songs lyrics are fairly typical "look at how cool and hip and better than you I am" stuff. So having a line about people trying to copy, because everyone wants to be them, is fairly standard stock in boast lyrics.

Kpop fans out there thinking Kpop lyircs are fucking 90's-00's Hip Hop beefs
