I do not think so. They can’t afford to pay the rumored $400M contract buyout and there’s no way Hybe will let them walk out freely at no costs.

They might be able too, but at a heavy price. Not sure what the cost would be to buy out the remaining time on the contract. They would never be New Jeans again as the name is trademarked to Hybe

If the public opinion in SK is really against Hybe. It's possible that it will cost Hybe more to keep NJ (Bad reputation, success decrease of all their groups) than to let them go for free

Yes let’s hope so because if they have to stay their careers are over. At least if they go they have a chance to start anew albeit new brand maybe name and no ties to their old songs (or another legal battle) but they will be free

I predicted this will happen the moment the conflict was revealed but people called me a madman and keep deluding themselves that newjeans was too valuable for hybe to do this, I will say this forever, what made newjeans that valuable on the first place was hybe and at a moments wish they could take most of that value away... and that is exactly what is happening now. Newjeans is done, over, finished, they getting out of hybe tomorrow or next year is irrelevant to that fact but I doubt it will happen soon.

I think so. There's no way in hell that HYBE will ever reinstate MHJ (I think it was naive of the girls to think they could make demands and have them met easily) I really think that MHJ is manipulating the girls into believing that their nothing without her, and that they'll never be successful without her. They really just need to be separated from her. She probably told them to go live. Obviously I don't want them to leave HYBE because I don't want them to disband but I think that HYBE won't be too lenient on them.

I’m not really following the drama unfolding step-by-step but if they were allowed the chance to buy out their contract, that would not be the only money they’d be paying. At this point, I would hope they have a legal team guiding them along the way, and I am sure that’s not a free service either. MHJ should be footing some of, if not all, the bills because this whole thing started between her and Hybe.

idk but the entire situation gives me so much anxiety that makes me feel psychically ill. i am hoping for the best but my gut instinct is saying that this isn’t going to have a good or peaceful resolution.
