Most people agree Cosmic > Supernova but why did it fail?

I dunno personally I preferred supernova > Cosmic > Armageddon but that's just me

and I guess SK GP preferred Supernova > Cosmic too but again that's just a preference

Cosmic is a very good song, but not on the level of Supernova let alone on the level of Armageddon

I guess Supernova just has that viral quality while Cosmic is a song that is more appreciated by those who listened to it.

I must be in the minority cause cosmic was a blop at best imo RV TT hasn’t been the same since Queendom which was their last good comeback for me

it's a question of branding, marketing and hype. a good song is not enough, how many times does it needs to be repeted?

aespa was a younger group and the whole mhj drama did benefit aespa in terms of marketing and promotion. red velvet didn't have that. red velvet are twice older than aespa.

and personally, even if supernova is a more unique, complex and quirky song, i also prefer cosmic. i think it's the best korean gg song released this year.

that's also what i thought i first, but i swear the more you listen to cosmic, the more insanely good it gets. like there are many subtle amazing stuff going on there and the bridge is one of the most beautiful and nostalgic thing i've ever heard .

Cosmic is a much better song. Supernova is more catchy and can play as a meme/challenge.

Red Velvet fumbled the dance challenge part. When they were on Kim JungKook's youtube channel, the hosts couldn't follow along, so they decided to just pump iron in the background. There was no virality, and in this day and age, virality drives popularity.
