It's not the feeling I get when I see them but definitely the idea of them not being anymore because of everything that happened
Have you ever been dissapointed of a group you stan, to the point you cant stan them anymore?

I never watch their performances, and I most of the times never watch gg performances since they are not on the level of bgs! I just watch gg mvs a lot and listen to gg songs a lot! Gg performance most of the time doesn’t impress me!
Because you said you haven't watched it. Since you haven't watched it, you've made a definite judgment. Itzy outperforms most of boy groups. With their stage charisma and perfect choreography, they leave a stronger impression than most boy groups in my eyes. Their voices are average anyway. They're not bad singers as they're made out to be. They're just not versatile singers. They suit certain genres. Also, male groups lack individual prominence, which is especially felt in crowded groups. Male groups overly intense choreography is not clean and watchable all the time in my opinion. Female groups choreography is more elegant, clean and stylish.
As for the question, Le Sserafim's music has become very simple and they always come back with lower quality than before. Their intro style albums have gotten a little old. Their debut albums, which are more vocal-oriented, are of very high quality compared to the albums they've released now. ITZY's music has unfortunately decreased in quality over time. But i still loved Itzy girls. The groups that haven't decreased in quality are Red Velvet, Blackpink and Aespa. The music of most other girl groups can drop in quality too much. But the ones I mentioned always maintain a certain average quality in my opinion.

yeah back in 2018 with BTS i was very disappointed with both dna and fake love and their level of talent just didn't match with nct 127's level. SO i dropped them.
127 is starting to release music hasn't been releasing music ive loved as much as in the past. And now that taeil is gone their music is gonna downgrade so maybe im gonna stop stanning them depending on their next release.
ive stanned april, they've never disappointed me musically. Same with aespa.

Not to the point of unstanning, but to the point of losing a lot of interest that I trying to rebuild...
Because of their constant "world tours" in the US only and almost ignoring the rest of the world, and then trying the stupid ass "buy a box of expensive merch that includes a shirt that you can ONLY get in XXL and if enough people from your country buy it, we might tour your country"...
Only to then see countries that are topping the ranking of that scam STILL get ignored (Australia and Japan) while countries and US cities that weren't even ranking on the the scam (South American countries) get tours.

Never.
My relationship to idols or musicians in general really is this: make good music, and I will listen. I don't care about your personal scandals. If you have a dud release, I will just skip the release. If you've never had a good release, I will listen to the next one to see if anythjng is good.
That's why I only stan acts that are already inactive, moved on, and have years of good music e.g. SNSD, T-ara, AOA, BoA, etc.
Otherwise, I'm strictly casual, I guess.

I lost interest in kpop in general actually. I remember till 2019 I followed a lot of groups releases, watched tons of kpop contents, but idk.. something changed and 4th gen being all kids didn't help it either to keep my interest, now I just enjoy some music, but that's all.
My only interest as a stan is with BP and BB that miraculous are super active this year.
Like I love Aespa music, but I still didn't check their album or tt. Now it takes time to listen to others music, even months...

It never happened to a group. Whenever I stop following a group it’s just because gradually I start losing interest in them, like MAMAMOO.
I have ever dropped one artist because duo to total dissapointment. I was a hardcore fan of Kim Hyuna for over a decade. She disappointed me to the point I just couldn’t stan her anymore.

Yes a couple times.
Firstly it was for MVP. They were a rookie boy group although I loved the members I felt disappointed in the agency when they had to refund fans out of the blue. Not really any statement and no signed awards were ever sent out. They did refund my credit card.
But I felt bad for the men. A lot of them would be going to military soon and they never got their agreed comeback Mv! The company gave them a final livestream to talk about a song that was of meh quality but I could see how sad Pk and Rayoon were and it broke my heart.
Another would be the group DUSTIN. I loved the idea of the group and were into them for a bit, they are one of the few groups who actually did more modern merchandise that I enjoyed and wasn’t that common stuff we see. But the management isn’t great and I just feel bad for the members.
Third is NOIR. I loved them to bits but their company deletes their history from YouTube to promote their girl group (making a member mad and he had every right to be!), a member committed a very serious crime and broke my heart as my bias, the leader still post his solo stuff on soundcloud but they just don’t hit the same to me anymore. But I do respect him a lot. He managed their sns for a while and was never treated properly.
D Crunch.
Loved them as well and all of their music but they did this performance and were called gay slurs and things along those lines. O.V wasn’t the most respectful in terms of leadership and some don’t say very nice things about him which is sad but I get why.

Red Velvet was it for me. Post-Psycho, it was just dud after dud of releases for them, and by the time Chill Kill released I was out for good.
