The issue is most people arent capable of looking at the larger picture, seeing the group as a whole.

Tunnel vision and recency bias have users cherry picking one or criteria and basing their entire argument on it.

Let me remind everyone Twice is one of the biggest kpop groups in US, the largest music market in the world, and largest in Japan second largest in the world. Some would even debate Japan is tied to US in market share. South Korea isn't even top ten.

Twice has the longevity today because they dropped Korea. It was necessary because longevity and south Korea are naturally contradictions due to the way Koreans value youth and how quickly they drop girl groups.

Naturally this comes at the cost of Korean charts but this is a small price to pay.
