KATSEYE🐈‍⬛️ "Debut" MV || Honest Opinions?

The song isn't really my taste but there are some really catchy parts, also i really liked the rap parts.

They really look like Bratz to me for some reason.

It's barely 2 minutes long

But I liked it

Verses are super meh, where are the girls vocals?! Chorus is great BT we have known that as they kept teasing it

idk they're more Kpop than I thought they would be, they even have their name in Korean on the music video, song is very kpop coded too

Catchy chorus. Rap is average. Too repetitive.

The teaser was promising but the final product is underwhelming. Flop. But I'll check out what else they have for their album.

I’d say it’s between a bop and a blop, as people said, it’s pretty generic. There were no real catchy parts. They all looked great though and I’m sure they have potential with the right song and a lot of label push.

it sounds so generic. i’m not a fan of this song but i really like the lineup of the group.

This probably the debut actually giving pop girl group among new global groups by far.

Debut is like a short introduction single to EP SIS. I think they will push the upcoming singles on July/August.

Good lineup, worst creative team in Hybe.

They need to do LM Salute concept. This is basically kpop but English with a tacky mv and mediocre choreo.

Blop for me, they should've added a bridge at the end. Just as I'm starting to enjoy the song, it ends. When will companies stop making such short songs?

the only connection they have is they are managed partially by hybe right?

like are they going to promote in SK or did they use SK producers or train in SK since I don't see any connection to the "Korean" part of kpop

Cuz the other HYBE groups have amazing concepts and music videos, when u look at illit le sserafim and newjeans.

If katseye had korean staff and creative input, they couldve had a fire music video and storyline i feel like.

This looks like HYBE hired a U.S music video director and just went a long with what they wanted to do with the girls

Yeah that might be the case cus lesserafim and illit both have amazing creative teams and then we've this tacky mv. Even lesserafim bsides have better mvs.

This song has no flavor wow. The girls are chromatic and cute but they look bland in the MV. Hybe can create global kpop groups but can’t with a western gg.
