Ur making no sense when nearly all groups dropped in sales with Ive being one of the few exceptions.
They were literally the first group to sell a million with a single but starship didn't do mediaplay about this (or Kakao, since y'all love to think Kakao gives a shit abt ive despite the rumor of them planning to sell starship to invest in ai)

It's not a matter of having 2cbs per year but the fact that ive cumulative numbers all increase with time. Love dive sold 544k in its first month but in 2024 it doubled in numbers and it's over 1m now. After like sold 1.1m and now it's 1.7m. I've Mine was 1.8m in 1st month and now it's 2.2m.
If other groups can do that maybe they can keep up with ive numbers.

Fraudulent shit you’re talking about is called restocking if you were bright you’d know JYP does the same with twice and some of their old albums have a resurgence in sales.

My bad, the source where I was checking the sales was outdated, the actual number they sold after the first week is 32k... And that still proves my point!! During the fraudulent era this ive album would be crossing 2M by now with just kakao weekly increase like they were doing on 2022-2023. Ive is doing better than twice since the fraudulent period started, in fact the difference is almost the same

Even If TWICE releases another album this year, I don't think It will remain being a regular path of theirs, as they are already an almost 9 year-group and might slow down in terms of group releases in comparison to younger groups to venture in other fields or opportunities balancing it with their career in the group. While IVE is 2.5 years old, so It's expected they will keep releasing 2 albums per year for a longer time.
And they already passed the first test, I'VE Mine sold 2 million and I'VE Switch, even though decreased to 1.7 million, was only 15%. A healthy decrease. If their sales stagnate or don't decrease as much in the next release(s), I see them comfortably getting the #1.

Nearly all kpop groups experienced a decrease, the fact that ive's numbers didn't drop drastically and have the best selling gg album of 2024 show that they have insane power in physicals. Which is ironic considering people used to say they were the weakest in sales because they didn't have impressive initial numbers compared to other groups.
