Ador could hurt Hybe decisively if Min Heejin just could hold on for 2 more years

  • I have compared BTS to Napoleon many times, and have been negative to its return attempt in 2026.

And wrote about the coalitions which would be formed against it if it returned

What I intended to write was that when BTS came back, everyone else in the Hybe label, led by Min Heejin, ganging up against it.

New Jeans fought Jungkook for weeks at Melon, so while JK's song reached #1 in Billboard Hot 100, at Melon New Jeans was above JK, who finally beat them only to be defeated by Akmu, a longtime IU ally, a few days later.

It is now revealed that Ador would release songs without regard to other acts under Hybe organization so it is likely that Min Heejin would have released a New Jeans song just around BTS attempts a return.

So, what would have happened that New Jeans would have attempted to defeat BTS in Korea, undermining its credibility just like Cho Yongpil shot Psy on the back in 2013.

It is not clear how other labels would have allied with either Bang or Min Heejin, but by 2026 NJ would have been more powerful so it is quite possible that other labels not directly controlled by Bang would have allied with her. IU would have played the role of Blucher, appearing at the right time to polish BTS off.

So BTS' return is defeated, and Min Heejin and her faction get to control Hybe for all practical purposes as it becomes clear that NewJeans , plus Ador's new boy group which would have debuted in 2025 (but will instead be scrapped since it would have been made in her image), bring more value to the shareholders than whatever Bang would be running.

BTS gets to be shipped to St. Helena, i.e. arenas in cities not generally considered to be major cities, while New Jeans gets to tour stadiums and Min Heejin becomes a billionaire.

    ==

It seems Illit really ticked Min Heejin off which might have led her and her minions to act faster than scheduled. We don't have the complete story, but she might have feared that Bang intended to replace NJ with Illit, and Illit's fast success might have increased her sense of danger.

However, if she had ignored Illit and did a world tour, instead of going to Japan where Illit, with 2 Japanese members, were more likely to prevail, she would have overshadowed whatever Illit would be doing.

In other words, Min Heejin lost the general picture since she saw Illit and the staff behind it as a threat and thought it should be dealt with, instead of just holding off for even one year to make New Jeans a dominant act and force her will to the entire Hybe empire.

With her victories against BTS, Han Sungsoo (Pledis), Zico and others Bang had assembled would have followed her, not Bang, since it has been revealed that without BTS Bang is nothing, no matter what investment he had made elsewhere. He would have been forced out like Lee Sooman. Whether some BTS members would have followed him would no longer be relevant since the world would have seen that New Jeans defeated BTS once for all.

In my opinion her impact would have been much bigger if NewJeans had gotten larger, and there would have been a very reasonable chance of her defeating BTS and Bang, and taking over Hybe. But she tried to move before NJ and her new boy group became stronger.

t is unlikely that Min Heejin will be left in Hybe. Whether NJ will remain in Hybe is not important. It will NEVER be allowed to attack BTS or other hybe acts. That will also make other Hybe labels think twice before attacking acts directly under Bang's control (BTS, txt, Le Sserafim and Illit), and also IU would would be embarrassed by allying with New Jeans and won't show up to hinder the advance of Hybe acts.

Min Heejin's ouster unwittingly removed a huge threat against BTS' return in 2026. Min Heejin would have been able to destroy BTS if she had waited for 2 more years, but Illit did tick her off enough to make her act earlier than the optimal moment, and thereby changing BTS' destiny.

Taylor Swift and other western major singers will now have to develop a different strategy to deal with BTS in 2026 since it has become impossible to contain BTS in Korea before it does more damage to them.

  • Hybe has their replacement in ILLITJeans already.

  • Napoleon? nah

Romance of the Three Four Kpop Kingdoms my friend

Bang is the king of the Hybe kingdom and MHJ is the general of the Ador army division leading NJ to war with the other kingdoms. Ador has scored successive victory after victory but Bang no longer trusts his general so he beings a new army mirroring the same strategies and tactics used by MHJ and creates Illit. MHJ fears her position being threatened and decides to take pre-emptive action to solidify her forces. Other kingdoms rally to her id to take down Hybe once and for all

  • It ends faster though since Hybe owns 80% of Ador. They call a shareholders meeting, and just vote out MJH and her minions off the board of directors.

  • It ends faster though since Hybe owns 80% of Ador. They call a shareholders meeting, and just vote out MJH and her minions off the board of directors.

And then MHJ goes to court, where Hybe will now have to prove the legality of the suspension.

  • BTS is dependent on Spotify, if the US wants to destroy BTS, all they have to do is ban Hybeyola through playlists and then Hybe will become homeless.

You know this one time Armys made Spotify officially apologise to Jungkook and BTS, so yeah, pulling any shit against BTS means facing the wrath of Armys

Also you all need to remember UMG, the most powerful entity in western music and globally, has allied itself with Hybe and BTS. There is no stopping BTS from resuming their position and maybe even growing bigger unless they themselves decide they do not want to be on top or continue as a group for long.

  • Which did tick Min Heejin off, but when Youngseo left, for whatever reason, the possibility of Illit becoming the next NJ ended

They may have already surpassed them.

This is what may pissed of MHJ, she thought she had something especial with NewJeans, but Hybe just went, I can do the same thing again.

  • With HYBE owning 80 % of ADOR they can do what ever they want, it's not really anything to talk about. HYBE is in total control. It's only a queastion how many in ADOR will fly out off the window with their heads first.

  • HYBE wants to cut off the infected area before it festers. They placed too much goodwill with Ador, and got backstabbed hard. Now it’s real business, and investors don’t play. HYBE has a responsibility to their investors, they need to clean house at Ador and make sure something like this never happen again.

  • It ends faster though since Hybe owns 80% of Ador. They call a shareholders meeting, and just vote out MJH and her minions off the board of directors.

Not as easy as some people think.

There is a lull of 2 months before Hybe begins the proceedings to get rid of Min Heejin's people and she will sue, Hybe will countersue, etc and the legal brouhaha can take months.

  • You know this one time Armys made Spotify officially apologise to Jungkook and BTS, so yeah, pulling any shit against BTS means facing the wrath of Armys

Blah, blah, blah Army is an empty place, thank Scooter that he is part of Spotify, if it weren’t for him, BTS would hardly have achieved what they have. :pepe-joy:

NJ has a contract with ADOR, so MHJ can terminate NJ's contract with ADOR.

  • Thats not how companies work. The shareholders can vote on who the CEO and board directors are, at any time.

If they fire her from being the creative lead that is a different story.

In order to fire someone, even through the board of directors, there must be compelling arguments in favor of dismissal. Otherwise, MHJ will sue Hybe for wrongful termination

Absolutely, BTS did not exist without Scooter, Dynamite and Butter were due to Scooter and as was all their prior charting, he has been payolaing them even before he joined Hybe...dumbass

  • Hi,

Hitman ain't dumb. Once NJ blew up, he was already planning a way to keep MHJ in check. He saw what happened with NJ's debut and then following that up with Ditto and OMG? RU NEXT came out in June (around the time of NJ's GETUP promos). I'm not familiar with Korea's pre-production process, but typically outside of SK program pre-production starts much earlier. It's possible RUNEXT the program was being planned as early as Q4 2022 or Q1 2023. Based on what we heard about the shenanigans with that program, Bang was already visualizing the NJ replacement.

MHJ probably didn't have time to wait 2 years.

  • Scooter was the producer of Jungkook - Seven, and also worked on Golden. I hope you have at least one brain to draw simple conclusions.

Scooter is not a producer, he worked as an A nd R for Seven. Seven was released under Jungkook's label Big Hit Music and managed by them. Now go google and understand the difference between producer and A nd R with the few brain cells you have left which are not fried from all the trolling and shitposting you do.

Also Seven debuted at 20 on Spotify's biggest playlist with shit all playlisting positions across playlists and absolutely no autoplay, and still pulled one of the biggest debuts seen in the history of music, so where is the payola fool? If you think the most popular Kpop idol needs payola when he has debuted with massive numbers in each comeback of his, you need help.

  • Scooter was also made the general director of Hybe America, I wonder for what kind of merit? :pepe-big-brain:

For someone using that emoji, you severely are lacking in it. Hybe America is Ithaca renamed. Ithaca aka Scooter's company which Hybe bought...so why would he not be made CEO of the company he created :clown:

I don’t think, but I clearly see how Hybe uses payola for all their groups, I doubt that they have an exception even for BTS. And by the way, Scooter worked closely with Jungkook when creating Seven and Golden, constantly posting general photos of the work on social networks.

I think BTS are talented, but there is no denying the fact that money and connections at Spotify play a significant role in their popularity success.

BTS have been insanely popular before Spotify even gained prominence as a major streaming app, are you new to Kpop? Also how crazy obsessed are you with Spotify as the end all be all when its not even that important in music and what matters the most is touring followed by sales of merch and albums. Are you going to sit and call BTS' multi million dollar soldout stadium tours also payola next?

Jungkook or BTS do not need Scooter or payola, you would know this if you saw what streams he gets for even random OSTs of his. BTS had Dynamite and Butter and every massive success of theirs before Scooter even stepped foot in Hybe. Who are you clowns even trying to fool with coming at BTS just cause you have invented this new term "Hybe payola" to dismiss and attack Hybe ggs you are envious of?

If BTS were getting push that the biggest western acts get with their autoplay deals and non stop promo on various streaming apps and heating deals on tiktok etc, trust me they would be at a level 100 times bigger than what they are now. The actual payola aka radio in US is still not accessible to BTS, so what shit are you even on about?

  • For someone using that emoji, you severely are lacking in it. Hybe America is Ithaca renamed. Ithaca aka Scooter's company which Hybe bought...so why would he not be made CEO of the company he created :clown:

Because he was the CEO of Ithaca Holdings, not Hybe America. Hybe America should have been led by a Hybe man who stood taller than Scooter. But recently Scooter was promoted to become the general director of all Hybe America, I wonder why? :pepe-toast:

You can only leave so much text for your memoir, everyone knows BTS's place in music and K-pop, and the importance of Spotify to their popularity.

Hybe America literally had no holdings before Ithaca deal, stop being purposefully daft. :clown:

Scooter has been the CEO of Hybe America from the time they merged, he was not promoted but shared the position with the idiot Lenzo Yoon, your Hybe man.

  • NJ has a contract with ADOR, so MHJ can terminate NJ's contract with ADOR.

You mean she would dig her own grave? Because she own a part of ADOR and she if ADOR goes down that shares is not worth anything. And HYBE could easy drag her to court because of the contract termination and argue it was done in self intrest to benefit her and not the companies best and it would not be that hard to prof. So if she is not doing just because she want to go down with the company it not likely she would do that, even if she can.

Yes Spotify will be the hill we will all die on cause its not Billboard charting or their worldwide tours or their record breaking album sales which make news and noise but their Spotify charting :pepe-clown-gear:

BTS are popular due to Spotify is a new one for sure.

Billboard uses Spotify as its main chart. Fifty-fifty was only able to fly so high in Billboard thanks to Spotify :pepe-narrow-eyes:

In fact, if NJ makes a statement that it was by mutual consent, then MHJ will not pay anything for the termination, and since she will be fired from ADOR, then all the costs for terminating the contract will be on ADOR, not MHJ or NJ. Since MHJ, when concluding the contract, was part of ADOR. The END.

I talk about personal legal problems, she could end up in jail if she do anything that is only for her personal winning and not for the companies best.
