Dating news has never really affected groups that are already established and well loved.

I don't think normal people care, so if the GP already likes you, this kind of thing isn't going to make them stop.

Of course it's going to affect aespa as Dating news in general is negative from the point of view of Korean Kpop Stans, however it shouldn't be a problem as she's not dating a popular Male Idol.

Jennie dated Kai, V, and possibly GD. Didn't hurt her. Taeyeon dated Baekhyun. Didn't affect her. Also, if we are talking dating rumors, Yunjin had dating rumors with Yeonjun...didn't hurt LSFM.

Also, losing fandom usually affects album numbers. Not streaming, which is dominated by the GP.

Edit: Also, Yoona and Suzy, the 2 #1 It girls of 2nd gen both dated, and had successful comebacks right after announcing their dating news. Same thing with Hyeri and Hani.

Itzy r one hit wonders. After debut they never again scored a hit. So it's not surprising they flopped after sometime in sk

Twice problem was concept change. They never tried another image/sound during their peak neither could they countinue doing the cute concept forever. Bad title track also didn't help after sometime. Twice was 4 years in already with an insane run of hits when their downward trajectory began in Korea.
