Ofc nj spotify playlisting, I mean they already have famous songs outside Korea and do well in usa for a rookie, so it's better

YG's strategy is to stick to the song to the recommendation algorythms. They did the same with, I was saying at the time but people wouldn't listen. There was one day where one of their MV's went from 1 million to 300k in a day. Laters blinks were writing on twitter how it wasn't on recommended that day. 700k views from a fucking autoplay, fucking scam.

Why not both so we get the best of both worlds
but i think youtube is more expensive because YG seems too broke now to do anything else compared to Ador which has been making profits since their 2nd comeback so it's a good investment

K-pop stans don’t care about AM because their faves flop on AM. But AM >>>> Spotify. They pay better too.

Spotify playlisting impact on streams isn't really that significant. It is a good rope a dope strategy.

One group that released last week for the song had 75 playlists, 18.1m reach which is more than most groups except the four mentioned that are in TTH, but their Spotify streams were effectively nothing

Day 1: 514,545

Day 2: 389,360

Regarding YouTube MV views, I think people stopped caring and thinking they had any importance about 5 years ago.

Ads mean nothing because when you stop listening to then views drop while Spotify has auto play, playlisting and discover mode so when you get spammed you end liking the song

I'm in Western Europe and most people I know use AM. But then again they mostly listen to Hip Hop. I use AM (and YouTube music).

I have always heard that AM was big in Japan. I thought that’s why SVT was doing rather well on AM.
