What made you stopped stanning / jumped ship?

In my case:

1. I loved this group and supported them since pre-debut, but one member annoyed me so much that I quietly stopped stanning them as a whole. I couldn't stand that member, so I left discreetly.

2. These groups have good songs but aren't really talented as a whole. Watching them on stage hurts my heart, making me question if I truly want to stan them. They're a pain in the ass on stage, and I'm tired of defending them, so I've become a casual listener. I still like the group and talk about them sometimes, but that's it.

3. I move on when my bias leaves. I like the group, but my bias is the biggest factor in why I invested in that group and not only a casual listener.

4. Mismanagement. I sympathize with them, but at the same time if it continues for the rest of their careers, it's not my business anymore. You do you honey, sorry but I can't stand a group that their company didn't even have any afford to manage them properly. It just make the whole stanning experience really bad but don't worry I still supporting their music if they released one.

5. Terrible songs. If their songs don't fit my playlist for two comebacks in a row, I drop the group, no matter how much I like them. I stan for my ear, not just my heart.

The entire soojin scandal and gidle becoming 5 from 6 made completely lose interest in the group. I would have still stanned then even after the scandal if they remained 6

Iz*one cause they disbanded

the only two groups I "dropped" were IOI and Izone since they were termporary groups and I gave them each a year after disbandment then moved on

TXT: lost interest in them after blue hour came out

BTS: their English music wasn't for me

Itzy: lost interest in them after Not Shy came out

Mamamoo: bad music after HIP

I haven't jumped ship or stopped stanning YET but they dropped down my list a lot...

For a very, VERY petty reason.

I'm super excited and hopeful they will one day return to Australia after their tour in 2019 was cut short.

Theres a good chance they may never come here.

But this year when they announced their third US tour in 2 years instead of exploring other places... the shine started wearing off

(G)I-dle after hwaa. I don't like any comeback after that.

Twice after Feel special. Song quality declined a lot after that.

Itzy after not shy for the same reason.

BTS - the fandom made me unstan
