Kinda similar happened to me, after soojin left gidle i lost all the interest in the group, funny thing is that soojin was among my least favourite member of in gidle.

I'm torn. It's becoming obvious JYPE has been iffy about caring for the health of their artists, so I kind of see not wanting Lia there anymore.

At the same time, I don't want Lia to leave ITZY.

4. if the members don't want to be in JYPE anymore after their contract renewals that's their right but a company deliberately preventing them from having solo activities so that they will be more likely to renew (ala Twice) is just so devious (smart on JYP's part if one looked at it from his pov)
