Is Aespa bigger than Red velvet?

Wow this hurt my reveluv heart but yeah Aespa is bigger than Red Velvet currently in term of tours (bc of Japan Dome mostly) and sales (best selling gg rn after bp). But I also believe SM limiting the group so much that rv never really show their full potential. Both of them are not really consistent for their release tho but they both have hit for sure.

Whose will have bigger legacy? I honestly think in term of discography or more memorable songs it is RV but in term of overall popularity, it is Aespa.

People forget the power of Twicepinkvelvet during 3rd gen and how obsessed people were with those 3 groups. Aespa will make a lot of money and have success but in 37 years they will just be remembered as "one of those 4th gen groups" while red velvet's legacy as a Twicepinkvelvet member will remain.

At this point in time, yes.

Yes they are at this point and there is no way to deny it. However, it's a bit triky to compare aespa three years into their career and Red Velvet because the Kpop landscape changed a lot.

Given their 9 years in the game, RV have a bigger legacy but Aespa is bigger in terms of sales and will definitely have bigger numbers because while RV is looking for ways to keep moving forward and having longevity, Aespa is just beginning.

Aespa will be bigger and RV has achieved more so far.

Also, we'll never know RV's real potential because SM keeps limiting them. They can't sell much or your more because of SM even if they have very good digitals.

In the west, probably aespa. In Korea though don't sleep on Red Velvet. I think both musically and popularity wise folks in Korea are picking the cake girls.

I think fandom wise aespa is bigger, but red velvet definitely pulls more casual listeners.

Aespa can sell more albums and be given opportunities that SM unfairly denies RV, it won't change who has the bigger legacy as of now. Frankly I see Aespa sputtering out well before they can even make that an argument.

Red Velvet have way better music, like it’s not even a competition.

They have an actual discography worthy of praise and reverence. Meanwhile Aespa release horrid noise music like a female NCT subunit.

They have a bigger fandom than red velvet . But with regards to Korean GP or even international charting I don’t think the difference is much. I’m pretty sure psycho is still the best performing song from SM internationally.
