We've seen 2 female idol suicides due to a strong influence from knetz harassing and blaming them constantly. We've seen plenty more knetz calling for death threats or raping them. Witch hunts against female idols are extreme.

Reducing the seuicide issue in kpop to male vs female thing is very low. Just not too long ago a male idol did passed away in tragic way .

I would understand it, if the topic were to be discussed on the forum. Because realistically, the idols would never see it here. If anything, those topics are more to trigger the fans of the artists, and then we have some fun banters back and forth, sometimes. Nothing was harmed.

When those topics are discussed outside a forum where it could trend, or even directly onto the artists' social media, then that shits just disgusting. Because then you're just being an a-hole. As literally, majority of what the artists do has no effect on your current life.

Unfortunately, that's just how the world works. Hate topic and dramatic issue trends way more quickly and get clicks than positive ones. We're nosey. I said it before, but Soojin's return photo has 2.5m likes. Where were those supporters when she was being stoned? They are probably the one liking her picture and started saying they misses her. Even when she was on GIDLE, they never reach that many likes.

We only misses something when its gone, and starting to regret. Then there's the other side where they pretend to care so they can reach the top LIKE- for clouts.

Well, they also come for the ones that they consider unattractive and treat them like their group's ugly duckling when they are far from ugly but it's true that the most popular females members are subjected to a huge amount of hate deeply rooted in misogyny.
