I counted and you're right. All five of their singles are hits (reaching top 3 at least on Melon Weekly). NJ has four singles that have hit this mark. Aespa has two, Idle has two, Stayc might have one, LSRFM has one, and Itzy has one.

It holds true for me at least.

Sometimes...most times... I just want a pure pop song and IVE satisfies that need and the main reason they're my 4th gen group of choice.

Honestly I agree, too much of newjeans popularity is based on their music quality instead of the actual members. One bad comeback and it could all go down the drain.

🌷⋆˚✿˖°I guess that true, however I noticed that in 4th gen the music tastes are pretty diverse. Ive would appeal to the general public, but there will still be people who prefer other groups music. Ive definitely had a good, solid comeback with kitsch and I am. And regarding New Jeans, I just have a feeling they will have a change in concept, especially with some Kpop stans changing their interest in music.⋆˚✿˖°🌷

NJ was a longer term project, but blew up earlier than expected.

All 4 of their songs so far have been very good. Not epic, but very good. So I think it is unlikely they will have a bad comeback.

Their danger will be in their concept change that they will need to undertake in 2 years time and whether it will be convincing or not. Ive is experimenting with elements of girl crush now, because you cannot appeal to just Korea forever. imo Ive will go down the Twice sexy route, when the all members are adults, as its easier to pull off.
