4th Gen Nation's Girl Group?

there is none yet but im picking weeekly cause im biased as hell. ill also pick aespa because they are (at least) one of the most successful groups on the poll

I think G(I)-DLE and aespa, possibly ITZY but both G(I)-DLE and ITZY are more popular internationally? That leaves me with aespa, but we'll have to see how they do in the future.

This one is really hard, since we are in the beginning of 4th gen, but aespa and Itzy have a high chance to become the nations' gg, Everglow could be a candidate, but since their company is chinese I imagined there will be some resistance

Edit: and YG's new gg (debut in 2021/22 imo) will probably be focused on international markets (just like bp) rather than Korea

3rd gen still going strong as ever tho. I don’t think we will get it except some of them release national hit songs two years in a row just like twice.

no one comes close to blackpink they are a wall to other GGs

For 4th gen

I don’t think their will be ngg like what we got with Snsd/twice... that level of explosives but If I have to bet I’ll choose stayc they have something about them that I think if promoted properly and get lucky with a hit song they’ll reach something close to a ngg

lol Twice isn't "unofficially crowned by fans" - idk where ppl get this from it's annoying. it's the korean GP and korean media - just look at every variety show they're mentioned in or appear in. (also mentioned by SK president btw)

but as for 4th gen, I would've 100% IZ*ONE had they not disbanded, but now, it'd have to be either G-Idle if they get past their scandal, or ITZY. StayC is a good shout as well.

The NGG will be probably again a group with "cute" concept, since Iz*one is out i think YG new GG can take this title for 4th gen, or Big Hit GG.

definitely from big3, but if bighit (hybe) debut a GG, the group would be a strong contender.

A credible source would state what It needs to say and then connect or present the evidence or source that supports said statement. This did not.
