Why does Itzy have such low sales compared to 4th gen top groups?

Compare them to idle since both of them almost at same time their time doesn’t have a boost like we have today. I’m pretty sure itzy can be like them if they debut today look at nmixx sales almost the same as itzy

The real answer is because their C-bars aren't super strong. NewJeans C-fanbases bought almost 500k for that album.

I'm going to have to disagree here. Itzy's last two releases (Cheshire, Checkmate) both sold over 1 million, while Nmixx's last two releases (Entwurf, Ad Mare) are at around 600K and 500K, respectively.

They don't have the chinese market's support all the mentioned groups have.

Idle first mini's first week sales were 1/16 of Itzy's first mini first week sales.

Idle's 2nd mini album is 1/4 of total sales of Ity's FIRST mini album.

If you are comparing Itzy to Idle to make a strong comparison then you basically cede the OP's point. Idle have really low album sales compared to any big label group.

You are comparing them with a girl group who broke almost all the records for their debut era and a boy group. Ity is doing really well.

Ive have 600k sales in their cbars and get viral easy on weibo.

Other factor is their promotion...i thought cheshire is better sneaker also many midzys has buy pre orders yet when the song drop that was suck remind me girls... but the song isn't that...on the charts...even sneaker is better in the charts than cheshire in korea .
