Why is Hype Boy the most stable Kpop song on Spotify now?

  • The way it outlasts even two Blackpink songs even when it’s released earlier. Txt song just got released this weak is already lower than it. Why other 4th gen songs lack longevity compared to Hype Boy?

  • It good a boost from their cmb

Antifragile is more stable as it was above it before NJ cmb, it's yt views are the same

Idk when lsfrm will cmb but it would be interesting to see how a cmb by them do bc antigrsfile and fearless are so different, people could love it or hate it

  • I didn’t know Moonlight Sunrise was already out of the 100s :pepe-cross:

I guess JYPE got what they wanted from it though.

Which song currently has the 2023 record for days on Global Spotify, My Universe/Left and Right?

  • Their streams are heavily spotify focused and aren't as balanced as other groups. BP has better Amazon Music, Apple Music, and Youtube streaming stats. You wouldn't see such stability on spotify if NewJeans fans didn't prioritize Spotify probably.

idk where this narrative that NJs doesn't have good Apple Music came from... Hype Boy is still currently #54 on Apple Music Global, with only other kpop songs charting being Ditto, OMG (Ditto at #7 -- its the longest charting gg song in the top 10 of AM global-- and OMG at #13) and Antifragile by LSFM (#77).

Anti fragile actually has already charted longer on AM Global than any BP song has (BPs longest charting is HYLT) -- (so did after like btw, wadada and eleven also charted longer than PV for example).

all this is mainly thanks to all these songs stability on Japan AM who use AM a lot. Basically doing well on Japan AM kinda guarantees strength on Global AM and thats exactly what a ton of these 4th gen ggs have done (specifically IVE, LSFM, NJs and Wadada for Kep1er)

I was talking about Apple Music US. But I can see how that was unclear.

New Jeans US streams are strangely mostly Spotify with low streams elsewhere in the US. Blackpink has had 8 songs on billboard’s overall US streaming chart. Which is counting all streaming platforms. New Jeans has yet to enter one song, which shows most of their streams are mostly all on one or two platforms and heavily lacking on others. Otherwise they would chart on the overall streaming chart. This would carry over to global as well to some degree if you look at the underperformance of new jeans on the global 200.

By the way, How you like that peaked at #6 on Apple Music global and has lasted longer on the chart than any New Jeans song. 93 days is nothing to scoff at when it also peaked higher than any other song of those artists. Just saying.
