They want aespa re not minor groups....adult groups but young adults

Red velvet was just skilled groups but was overshadow by twice and bp since long time,i guess many other sm trainees had failed ..they were scared if they debuted ngg...they will overshadow rv
They want a GP-friendly group like Snsd.
If you know the history of SM, they aren't actually rushing. Aespa was delayed. Apparently due to not having good enoug trainees to make a group.
SNSD, Fx and RV all had 3 years or less between. They've also debuted GGs within a year of other prior to that. Their boy groups have also usually gone less than 4 years between debuts. Up until NCT.
NOBODY CARES about the artist previous to SNSD, only Boa and SES, and Boa is a solo artist. They are talking about groups, not solo artists
Some were probably unsuccessful. That's why everyone doesn't count and forgets what's in between. Sm has had success on Ses, SNSD, fx, aespa and Red Velvet. I haven't heard of the others. Girl groups can be more popular now than in the past. On the contrary, Sm thought logically and needed to add another girl group. In Red Velvet's 9th year, after a few years, they won't be as active as they used to be, probably going more towards their solos. I just wanted a couple of full albums. SM announced that they will be releasing 41 albums this years. That's why I'm hopeful.
LSM used to overseeing everything so with each debut it takes time and with how complex aespa concept was it took even more time.
Today, they are introducing new system and the era of where LSM head producer of everything is ending . Chris Lee is appointed as head producer for the ngg. This is his project so 100% the plan of debuting the new gg will goes through this year because he wants to prove himself too
