They do have a great songs. I like them too. But so does BP.

BP has been surpassed in Korea but not in terms of musical quality. Bornpink had zero flops, zero blops, it was ALL BOPS, which is virtually impossible. The one thing it is missing is a top notch SOTY contender like Wadada, i dont think there's a 10 out of 10 in the album but they are all 7s, 8s, and 9s. You cant ask for anything more frankly, i can stream the whole album beginning to end without ever hitting the skip button.

I wouldn't call trends surpassing bp yet though because no girl group is safe they are continuously being replaced by a new girl group that comes out still blackpink is going strong , stable and have what others lack longevity. I would wait a year bc I was sure Ive was that group and you see it always changes

It's a big gap

It was Itzy, then they declined, then Aespa which hasn't done great after Next Level, then Ive which is now being outshined by New Jeans, Baby Monster is coming. Meanwhile BP has stayed strong.

Like I said, BP as a group will stay in YG and have a different label for solos

Newjeans rising should be worrying for BTS since hype want them to replace BTS that's how SM work in the past
