The fact NJ is more streaming dependent like a typical western artist instead of being sales dependent like every other kpop group was bound to rattle some cages. So this isn't surprising at all.
And after all that talk about how "BP has more mass appeal than BTS", users like you would have a hard time digesting this.

Hybe works harder than the devil
True, listen to devil by the window for proof

I mean if that was the case they would be thru all platform or more than just Spotify bc u don't go viral in just one, money for example wasn't like that
And this is smith u ask their Stan and they just can't answer that

iTunes and amazon they don’t have a big fanbase they rely on casual listeners same goes to their Korean popularity
Spotify is usually inflated by playlisting which Nj has.
It’s so much harder to chart on AM than Spotify. R&B and Hip hop artists dominate here some pop songs do well sometimes but they’re doing better on Spotify.
As far I know BP didn’t chart on Apple Music US top 100 this year. Will you say it’s suspicious for them ?
-
To me, it makes sense. They don't have a large fan base in the US, but casuals/non-Kpop fans prefer to listen to them on Spotify. I believe they will eventually gain access to those platforms later in their careers. They probably will soon eclipse the US charting numbers for BP tracks on Spotify. I understand denying reality; it must be shocking to see another group rise and reach numbers that seem untouchable at times.

Because only boomers and “achievement” obsessed kpop stans stream on Apple. iTunes and Amazon. Regular people just use YouTube and Spotify

I only understand good music

So why the huge discrepancy

This thread reminded me to look at newjeans’ and BP’s Spotify ML because newjeans was 18M and BP 22ML last week (from a thread that I remember). So this is my own screenshot from Spotify today.
I’m shooked.. newjeans ML already reached 20M. Look.. do you guys think they can surpass BP’s ML eventually??

I'm not obtuse, I'm being very direct and so are the numbers wherever they are charting or they are not charting
I don't need to play stupid, love

I don't know why people refuse to see that there is something sus about this it's not only the streams and all the playlisting but how their company is moving in general

yeah only BTS has ever made it on to AM US top 100, but like full hip hop albums will chart top 20 frequently

Bc charted in am us 200 with both PV and SD
And I'm still asking how come a viral song with so much consistency can enter itunes when other viral western songs can, one that don't need a fandom for it

Funnily enough one of the reasons they were untouchable in some areas is because no other girl group was ever given the playlisting they had. The first girl group to get such playlisting is now unsurprisingly catching up in some metrics
-
So ? Both PV and SD didn’t chart on Apple Music US top 100 there’s no difference between being out the top 100 or 200
Some artists chart on Apple Music us but struggle on Spotify and vice versa nothing weird about it.
I wouldn’t say OMG is going viral since it didn’t pass 1M views on TT The song is stable because people prefer over ditto same thing with hype boy
Beside Miley no artist pulled more than 10k sales this week, NJ just doesn’t have a canon yet in the US also their songs were released weeks ago no point buying it.
It’s just funny how blinks drag antis for being weird toward the pinks and no y’all are doing the same because of some broken records.
