I watched Super junior KRY Beyond Live with my husband. Never have I been so proud to present something to him. Actually I make him tag along to metal concerts too, but for Kpop it was a first.

I'm so envious of people who's family don't hate k-pop, let alone think poorly of you for liking k pop. My older sister literally insinuated that anyone who likes k pop must be a degenerate. I generally love my family but sometimes I don't. Ok, I'm going to shut up before I depress people.

Ha no thanks, she said it at my birthday dinner so I have to bury a lot of hard feelings. I won't discuss anything k-pop or pretty much anything Asian related with them because I won't give them the chance to try and ruin k-pop for me. I now also avoid all things birthday related too. Ofcourse not. My mother asked me about the music I listened to a few times, and I played it. Generally liked songs. I mean, I think they liked it even though it wasn't their style in general. They know I'm a kpop fan. They thought the music I was listening to American music because some of the kpop songs are usually in English. I don't think they will be interested in Kdrama. Everyone's taste in the dramas is different. I've already stopped watching Korean dramas. Unfortunately, there are fewer Korean dramas that interest me, compared to the past. I think it's much better to watch drama alone. Everyone's reaction to something is different. I don't think I can tolerate annoying reaction.

Occasionally my daughter and I will watch a video together but she'll only get to about 20 seconds in and turn it off, she thought the song was shite usually girl group songs.
