Hmm. This is tough because I feel like I liked songs, but not necessarily many full gg albums this year.

1. Billlie - The Collective Soul and Unconscious, Chapter 1

I continue to love their jazzy and gorgeous music. Haram's voice is so underappreciated.

2. Purple Kiss - memeM

I loved every song on this album except the tt. On Geekyland, I liked the tt and liked the b-sides but I found myself going back to the bsides on Memem.

3. Billlie - The Billage of Perception, Chapter 2

Just like memeM, loved these bsides but could do without the tt. They remind me a lot of NCT 127 insomuch that their bsides are COMPLETELY different than their dramatic, ear-catching "different" tt.

For soloists:

1. Seulgi - 28 Reasons

I love the diversity of styles that show off the range of her voice.

2. Hyolyn - Ice

Just such a solid modern R&B album that flexes her impressive vocals.

3. Whee In - Whee

This album is just such a soft and lovely mood, I really love it day in and day out.

I think Taeyeon's INVU is a great album and almost put it here, but I probably listen to it less than these other three.

3. NewJeans - New Jeans

i don't listen to attention as much at the others, but what a well crafted debut. i honestly don't think you could do much better musically speaking.

no skip, they have a whimsical aspect to all of their songs that kind of reminds me of the good parts of loona.

just pure fun. even like the ballad even if i would have prefered another banger instead.
