1st tier for now would surely filled with IVE, NewJeans, Le Sserafim, Gidle.
they are the most highlighted now. Everyone had their eyes on them.

1.5ish tier

I will put Aespa here because they are still pretty relevant, just not in the highlight atm.

2nd tier :

Itzy, StayC, and this one maybe kinda border line but let me put Fromis_9

3rd tier :

viviz with their loyal buddies, loona with orbits, kep1er with keplian and bahiyyih stans, and nmixx.

Idk if I could count Billlie on this tier yet, but they do have a really loyal fanbase, so let just do it.

Also, weeekly is weeekly.

I'll try based on what I remember of sales, charts, and my opinion

Let's just say we consider all metrics of popularity together (album sales, digital charting, buzz, concerts)

And the tiers are in order although they might be wrong

Let's say this is only for South Korea cause that's what your tier categories seem to be based on (emphasizing that they need to be known by Korean listeners)

Tier 1: Itzy, (G)-IDLE, aespa,

IVE, LE SSERAFIM, NewJeans

StayC

- All of these groups have wide public recognition and at least 1 hit song.

- This is the same order as how many fans I think they have. I think the 3-4 years established groups with the biggest core fanbases should be considered more popular than the 1-year-old groups.

- NJ has 2 or 3 songs that are national hits in Korea, but considering they are all from the same album, I feel like it's really more like 1 hit (just like Love Dive). Ive, then LSF still have more fans. (and Ive and LSF have the post-Iz*One members)

Tier 2: fromis_9, Loona, (+ Dreamcatcher), NMIXX, Kep1er

- Again I think this is the order of how many fans they have in South Korea.

- And added in Dreamcatcher cause I feel they are similar to Loona. Eveen discounting any fans from outside of SK, I feel they probably have more fans than the new debuts Nmixx and Kep1er.

Tier 3: Weeekly, Billlie

I don't think VIVIZ has a "large and loyal fanbase" for Tier 3

Viviz > Loona > CLC > Block B > Aespa > StayC > IVE > Naruto > New Jeans > Le Sserafim > Jungkook

To those putting LSRF at 2nd tier, you must be kidding. Because they did as good as GIDLE sales wise and chart wise

Please dont put then together with Nmixx and kep1er. They're clearly a league ahead

• aespa - they haven't come back in a while, nor are they persistant in fan content but no one can deny their absolute heavy wave of popularity. Not only are they dominating in Korea, they keep going viral internationally and probably the most popular 4th gen girl group internationally right now. They keep topping the charts and breaking their own records so that's easily 1st tier material.
• IVE - Considering they won so many daesangs this year, including SOTY in probably the biggest award show event of the year, is already saying a lot. Their popularity and domination in Korea especially is EXTREME and it's extremely impressive that they can do it in such little time, including not coming from a Big 4 company. They're only going to keep growing. It almost feels like an honor to be a fan of them since debut
