&TEAM lack visual members

They all look good? I don't think visuals matter that much in a group

i cant say anything abt visuals bc i think everyone's attractive and stands out in their own way 🤩

They will promoting in Japan and not Korea, which having extremely good visual is not important. J-pop not really strict with their idols' visual and I think they're good looking enough to create buzz there.

Tbh, I thought the same thing when I 1st saw them.

But then again, this is a Japanese group, and the ideals surrounding JPOP boy groups seem to be quite different than KPOP.

Just check out groups like JO1 and INI. Most of their visuals would not fit KPOP taste. JO1 in particular. INI has a few good looking members based on my preferences, but either way JO1 is extremely popular as well as INI. So, while visuals aren't everything, Japanese fans may like their looks.

Harua and jo have the hybe look, maki is talented, Fuma and Yuma sing well so are understandable choices. Well Ej fits the group I guess. The rest, idk.

They’re nearly all really young and obviously none of them are ugly. They’ll likely grow into themselves much more. They were fan chosen too, right? So they obviously stood out to the people voting for whatever reason.

Third dude in the top row could be very striking if not styled like an Old Navy ad.

I'd echo everyone else in the thread tho - this seems to be less important in Jpop.

Individually I find the INI and JO1 members meh, but all together they look much better. Or, maybe it's just the photos.

What bothers me is how BG members have literally one of two hairstyles. Either the bangs or the middle part. Every damn BG member in the universe has one of these two styles. Couple this with the fact that every BG member is pretty much a 5'8 and 132 lb flower boy with the same styling, from BTS and EXO all the way down to the newest trainees, and it becomes really hard to defend against accusations of being manufactured robots.

There is diversity in bg looks, styles and heights. You just never bothered to look.
