RE: Nxde is already failing behind Antifragile, are you surprised?

Antifragile is catchier.

Well that's just my personal opinion but nxde is one of gidle's weakest title tracks, so yeah i kinda expected it

honestly nxde is not a good song. gidle is trendy right now and the concept and messaging of nxde made people hype it up, but now that the initial hype has faded a bit, antifragile has overtaken it. just like how hype boy is outcharting after like on some platforms

I don't care about results, but I do care about the music

I don't know why it matters much at all where what top 10 song is where. Like if it was free falling it's whatever, but like it's more than a month since both released. Both acts have made bank off of their tracks.

Only real reason to care at this point is just fandom clout measuring

G-idle usually make the best bop for me (especially their b sides) but I was not feeling it in this comeback. I guess I love the melancholic darker vibe of I burn (the best album) and I never die more than the risqué type songs from them.

So I’m not surprised.

*Anti ti ti ti ti part was annoying, and the lovely lovey dovey was cringe at first but now they sound ok.

I thought Nxde was quite terrible tbh.

Antifragile is one of the best title tracks of the year.

Nxde is good, but listening to it all the time can quickly get boring. The song is not as fresh as Tomboy. Also, the lyrics of the song are a little cringe. The message could have been more subtle. Antifragile and Hype Boy better song.

Not surprised. Antifragile is so much fun and catchy, it’s one of my favorite songs this year, I’m happy it’s doing so well

Right? Like, I was looking forward to Nxde because the themes, concept, and aesthetics looked really interesting, but Tomboy is the better song. It has a better hook and energy. Nxde isn't bad but it isn't that memorable.

And yeah, also agree on antifragile and hb being better. They are much more catchy and enjoyable.

I like both but antifragile is a lot catchier (for me)

I've never really liked GIDLE's music, so there is some bias there.

I didn't like Fearless either, but Antifragile has definitely grown on me. The choreo is really nice, which makes me want to watch the performances, and I end up listening to the song more and liking it more.

Longevity always depends on quality of song. Nxde with it's empty beatdrop was average at best
