why is twice not performing at MAMA?

actually because awards are split to two days

I really do hope that they will announce 3rd line up soon

I mean TWICE, aespa, STAYC, Red Velvet, and many more groups are missing...

for example if you look at gg's in line up you have KARA, (G)I-DLE, and ITZY

all other groups are the ones which could get rookie award...

I get that they want to create a buzz bringing all top female rookies in

but in same time they should also think about 3rd gen fans...

i dont see any 3rd gen groups in the lineup as well

SM doesn't have a beef with mnet since years ago, if groups don't attend is because they don't win anything, same as Twice

when it comes to ggs, 4th gen ggs dominated this year, Blackpink is the only one which could win awards and they don't usually attend

I don't think it's because they won't win an award. In 2020, they won only Worldwide Fans Choice award but they still attended. TWICE are a 7 year old group. I doubt award shows matter to them anymore.

Mnet would have tried to have booked TWICE around September but by then Division 3 would have had TWICE's schedule planned out. Division 3 generally plan a year in advance for TWICE.

With Individual Activities of TWICE members and preparation for their next comeback, it is unlikely that TWICE would attend, or rather, prepared a performance
